@FiveSteez #WarForPeace Album Drops Aug. 21, 2012

FIVE STEEZ

Five Steez is a true MC that has surprisingly risen through an obscure Hip Hop scene in Jamaica,
the land of Reggae, to capture ears and minds all over the world through years of mixtape releases,
performances and music videos. With the city of Kingston as his backdrop, he expresses a reality
that exemplifies Hip Hop’s role as the “voice of the voiceless”.
Steez was born in Kingston, Jamaica on November 11, 1986. Throughout youth, music was his
biggest fascination and as he grew older and wiser, he knew his calling was to speak to and for the
people.
"I need to tell my story and the stories of my peers who don’t have the platform I do. I hope I can
show somebody something and change a life the way I’ve seen Hip Hop change lives already," he
says.
One cannot help but listen to  Steez and be reminded of Hip Hop’s golden era when skills,
originality and substance were the focal points. “We’re in a new age and evolution is mandatory
but the essence of the music has to be maintained,” he says.
Five Steez has already connected with the likes of New York City radio icon, DJ Ready Cee, for the
“Momentum” mixtape series, which has received massive support worldwide and much praise
from Hip Hop fans.
The Five Steez debut album,  “War for Peace” will be released on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. He
describes it as new millennium boom-bap Hip Hop with a touch of Jazz,  Blues,  Soul, Reggae,
Dancehall and Dub. Steez says, “It’s just real music for the people - especially the black, poor and
oppressed  – seeking peace in their lives.” It is  certain that the sound and  lyrical content of this
release will be unlike anything that has ever been heard coming out of Jamaica.

@CTG757 aka CL8 The GR8 #TheHipHopSuperHero

CL8 The GR8
CTG, born Clayton Duncan is a Virginia native. Growing up in downtown Newport News, an area absent of motivational influences, he found his ambition on the basketball court.  CTG has had an ear for music ever since he was a child, and after a traumatic injury playing the sport he loved, he found himself focusing on the art of rhyme instead. His older brother Clifton played a major role in nurturing this passion for being an entertainer.  With his brother being an aspiring actor, he encouraged him to stick with the hobby of recording. That hobby eventually grew into a passion, an obsession even. As CTG has evolved into the MC that he is today, he has teamed up with The HeroVillian Brand, who believe in progression above anything else. Through CTG’s music he wants to inspire people to believe in themselves and focus on the highs rather than the lows. In doing so, CTG can truly consider himself the “Hero” of Hip- Hop.

@Coinz731 "Gone" Official Video

Coinz "Gone" - Official Video

Born Devon Clausell on July 3rd, rap artist Coinz exercises his birth sign to the fullest as he expresses the pride of a Leo and heart of a lion through his personality and music. Growing up in the city of Flint, MI, Coinz was put on to Hip-Hop at a very young age by his older brother who introduced him to all of the elements of the culture. Music opened up a whole new world for him and it wouldn't be long until the urge of wanting to make some of his own would set in.

His brother eventually influenced him to start rapping and guided him along the way while he wrote and prepared songs to record. As a budding emcee, Coinz soon learned the ins and outs of recording in a professional studio as he drew inspiration from some of his favorite artists including 2Pac, Jay-Z, Nas, and Kanye West to name a few. Coinz grew to love the creative process of making music and started to shape his own style and brand of music as the years passed.

Throughout his career in rap and striving to break into the business, Coinz had his fair share of ups and downs but has learned to grow from each experience and take things to the next level. Establishing the record label, Big Business Ent., is one of those next-level moves while gearing up to make a name for himself and company in the music industry as well as in his hometown.

As of now, Coinz is currently performing around the state of Michigan and in the studio preparing to release his next album. His main goal is to be able to provide for himself and his family while pursuing his passion for music.

THE HISTORY OF @1000BARS

THE HISTORY OF 1000 BARS

It appears that on the 4th day of most month’s, many entertainers and great leaders are born. August 4th Obama was born, September 4th Beyonce was born, December 4thJay-Z was born and so on. On November 4th, another star can be added to that tradition. This day not only marks greatness, but it also was the birth and beginning of Algemon Winfrey, also known as 1000 Bars. He was Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, one of the toughest places on earth to learn how to grow and survive. 1000 had experienced and seen a lot at a very young age. These experiences both good and bad, helped mode him into the individual he is today.
Riding around with his older brother in the flashiest cars at just 8 years old, with the speakers blasting such artist in his ear like Nas, Rakim, Big L, Jay-Z and Tupac was when Bars discovered he wanted to pursue music as a serous career. As the years progressed, 1000 persistently continued writing and rapping. He competed against other rappers in his neighborhood and city, as well as performed at various talent shows and venues. Bars and a couple of his close friends went on to create their own record label, Family Over Riches Entertainment. Opening up for different artists such as Fabolous, Too-Short, The Clipse, Ludacris and D-12 to name a few, 1000 gained exposure and familiarity in the music industry and popularity in his city.
1000 now known for his music was also well-known and respected in the streets as an intelligent hustler. He was labeled this because of his street wittiness and credibility. He was wisely able to hold his “weight” in the streets accumulating money while still attending college. Bars first love apart from music was basketball, but due to the quick money he was getting in the streets he turned down an out of state athletic scholarship and attended Eastern Michigan University to stay close to home. In December 2004, Algemon received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing.
Currently 1000 has learned how to master his artistry. He has perfected his craft and has made a unique distinctive sound of his own. 1000 music is edgy, urban, hip and street. It symbolizes the struggles, pressures and pain of today’s society. Anyone could connect to his music from people involved in the streets to those who live in the hood; while giving them inspiration, motivation and hope to make it out of the streets, be successful and achieve their goals. 1000 has the ability and talent lyrically to tell vivid story’s by painting descriptive images that are relatable to people around the nation. Breezing through high school, succeeding in a couple court cases and obtaining a Bachelors of Business all with ease; 1000 has already began his journey on the road to success.
1000 is currently shopping for the right deal. He has turned down several record contracts and is patiently waiting for the right major labels backing. With his single "I’m Feelin’ Myself," produced by Emperor Searcy of BME and Bengi and “Here I Stand”, produced by B. Corder currently spinning everywhere, from national, local and XM Satellite radio stations, even in the nightlife to energized club crowds, Bars has gained a tremendous diverse following in the Midwest that both follow and support Family Over Riches Ent. He has witnessed the product of his own success.
Along with “I’m Feelin’ Myself,” 1000 has also released 3 solo albums, 1 group project and numerous mix tapes. His solo albums Live Young Die Rich, Dope Boy 4 Life and From the Streets have all to date sold approximately over 35,000 copies and sound-scans. Moreover, his group’s project “Meet the Fam”, was also estimated to have sold more than 5,ooo street copies. 1000 has been gaining even more exposure while appearing on Worldstarhiphop.com, magazine spreads and being a regional spokesperson and representative for the up and coming cigar wrap company “Ballers Choice”.
"I'm ready for the industry after years of dedication and mistakes I [have] finally defined myself. I feel like music is a blessing for me, I'm comfortable with it and I enjoy it. One way or the other, I'm going to make my presence felt in this music game."
If you haven't heard about 1000 Bars, eventually you will. Trust me; you will know 1000 Bars Music when you hear it. That alone separates him from the rest.

@WILDCARDWORLD - "Wild"

WILDCARD
22 year old LoRon "Wildcard" White was born in Gary, Indiana but raised on the south side of Houston, Tx. Choosing to forgo college, he instead chose to pursue a career at something that he at one time only considered as a hobby. Being a big fan of music, it wasn't hard for him to quickly fall in love with expressing his thoughts on wax and entertaining as a hungry young up in coming artist. With influences like T.I., Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Drake, Lupe Fiasco and many more, it's easy to see why many listeners of his music find it hard to believe that he hails from the south. With only two short years of actually taking rap seriously he's birthed two mixtapes (The Beginning & The Verses vol.1) which has helped him to build a small but loyal fan base in Houston. Opening up shows for established artists like J-Cole (Roc Nation), Paul Wall, Dourrough to name a few at spots like the University of Texas, Toc Bar, Hot Spot, Midtown Lounge and The Signature Lounge has definitely set him apart from his counterparts in the underground hip hop game. Wildcard has gained many a fans with his single "Sorority Girl",which is currently being played on Internet radio and mainstream radio in the U.K., but his latest single "WILD" is started to make make major noise on the club circuit. Wildcard has also competed in and won 1st place in the Best Rapper in Texas competition. He is currently working on his most complete project yet which will consist of all original material in what he feels will enhance his future as the next major mainstream artist!

Have a listen and and let the truth in you convince you that we aren't playing with it. "We straight 1Thou*" on this side.
